GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A wood-burning advisory for some Western Slope counties has been extended again.

A Red Air Quality Advisory began last week, and will go through at least 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 11th.

The areas affected include Mesa, Delta, and Montrose counties.

A restriction on wood-burning fireplaces and non-EPA approved woodstoves will continue to be in effect during the advisory.

The restrictions will be re-evaluated on Wednesday to determine whether or not the advisory will be extended further.
