GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Some Zumba to exercise, others do it for a cure. Crossroads Fitness hosted a Zumbathon to support October as National Breast Cancer Awareness month Saturday morning.

The local gym hosted its "Party in Pink" on Saturday. Around 50 participants hit the pavement to dance and raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization that supports breast cancer research and promoting awareness.

Admission was five dollars per dancer, and there was also a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

This was the third annual Zumbathon for breast cancer event.
