Early Morning Standoff Ends Peacefully

Authorities arrested Robert Prescott early this morning after he refused to come out of his Pitkin Avenue home at about 2:30 a.m. Witnesses say Prescott may have been holding his ex-girlfriend and their baby at gunpoint. A swat team was called in to diffuse the situation. Prescott surrendered around 7 a.m. and was taken into custody. He's facing a number of charges including assault.
