Updated: 03/11/2008 - When Sergeant Jefferson Baker hurt his back during training, the 140 SECFOR CO. deployed without him. Baker had volunteered for the mission so to miss the opportunity to serve with his fellow soldiers was very disappointing. Baker knew that he had to do something to keep up the moral and spirits of his friends while they were overseas. He took it upon himself to send care packages to the soldiers who shipped out without him.
