Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) --- The 30th annual National Night Out is Tuesday August 6th. The goal is to get communities to work together and prevent crimes in their neighborhoods.
A free family event is taking place at Kimwood Park in Clifton between 5pm to 8pm where residents can come out and enjoy games and treats, while talking to law enforcement about ways to keep their communities safe.
The Grand Junction Police Department is also participating by going to neighborhoods that registered to have officers address issues and answer questions.
