In November, 17 year old Mallory Haulman's throat was slit during a school assembly at Montrose High School, allegedly by 14 year old Michael Yates. A second student was arrested days later.

Yates, facing up to 25 years in prison, claims that voices in his head told him to hurt someone.

Both students are scheduled to court in mid January.
