Our weekend kicks off with gusty winds and a freeze watch. Temperatures in the Grand Valley will reach the low 60s today, and Montrose county will see similar temperatures. Overnight, the mercury will drop to the twenties. The National Weather Service issued a freeze watch for most of Mesa, Montrose, and Delta counties. The same areas will also be under a wind advisory later starting at noon today as winds will reach 45 MPH.

This weekend we'll see a big cool down with temperatures dropping almost twenty degrees by Saturday. Bring your umbrella if you're heading around town tomorrow, we have a 20 percent chance of rain.

Sunshine will return by Monday, along with warmer temperatures.
