Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) --- The Fram Whitewater Master Development Project is currently in the works and plans include putting 108 wells on 23 new well pads.

Although the oil and gas exploration project is not approved yet, there is a chance C Road, between 32 and 34 Road, could be used as an access path for trucks to get to the site.

This raised concerns among locals that do business along C Road. Carol Zadrozny is the owner of Z's Orchard, which is located off of the road and she said along with worrying about safety and road damage, she is also concerned about the effect the traffic will have on her crops.

However, officials from the Bureau of Land Management said they will take all concerns into consideration and are focusing on the social, economic and environmental impacts of this project.

The BLM is accepting comments about this project until August 14th and Z's Orchard is hosting an informational meeting on Friday, August 9th at 6pm for locals to discuss this together.
