Grand Junction, Colo (KKCO) --- The Chamber of Commerce held their quarterly walk last week and visited businesses in Orchard Mesa to get feedback from them on concerns they may have.
Many businesses in the area are worried that the construction on Highway 50 limits access to their customers. They fear this will greatly hurt their revenue and possibly even lead to shutting down their operations.
Diane Schwenke, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, said, "Around the road construction and around the marketing are things that we can work on. I did not think that there was anything that came through generally in those comments that were not something that we could actually take some action on."
The Chamber's mission is to promote businesses and help them for all they do to contribute to the economy and it will try to accommodate the needs of these businesses.
