Denver (AP) -- State Treasurer Walker Stapleton says he will file a lawsuit against the State Pension Fund Board after he was denied financial information. Stapleton sits on the board that manages Colorado's $39 billion pension fund for state workers. Stapleton tells the Denver Post he wants to know how much money the state pays the top 20% of beneficiaries, and how they earned those profits.
PERA officials said they have not seen the complaint and could not comment.
