UPDATE: RIO BLANCO COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO)- Excessive speed has been determined as the cause of the fatal rollover.

48-year old Joe Orris, 40-year-old Steven "Erin" Geyler and 37-year-old Ryan Rouse died when their truck went off the road on highway 139 early Thursday.

According to state patrol their truck was traveling around 70 miles per hour at the time of the crash, the speed limit is 35 in the area.

officials also say alcohol is suspected to have played a roll in the crash.
Around 50-beer cans were found scattered inside the truck.

All three men were not wearing seatbelts they were ejected from the vehicle at the time of the accident.
