A truck plunges into the Grand Valley Canal with the driver nowhere to be found.

Clifton, CO. (KKCO)- A truck plunges into the Grand Valley Canal. It happened around six a-m Friday at 35 and F road in Clifton. Police say no one was inside when emergency crews responded. The lightly colored, Ford F-150 truck was full of what appeared to be construction equipment. According to crews on scene, it's a total loss. Meanwhile, authorities are looking for the driver. The truck is registered out of Fruita with Colorado license plate 503-MIR. If you have any information, please contact Colorado State Patrol.
