GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Hotchkiss Bulldogs' 2009 season came to a surprising halt in the 1A State Quarterfinals, but this year they have reason to believe that they are well-equipped to make it to a semifinals game.

Tyler Hansen, the 2009 leading rusher is gone, but that shouldn't be a tough position to fill. The Bulldogs second-leading rusher Jaime Rodriguez is back, and with a very evenly distributed rushing attack, the running game should be their again this season.

Ryan Spor returns for his senior season at quarterback. The leading passer from 2009 expects there to the passing game to be inserted with more authority in 2010. Last year, Hotchkiss relied on passing for just one-third of their offense.
