Colo. (AP) - The 2009 Colorado High School Activities Association winter state championships kick off this weekend with the girls' state swimming championships.

In all, state champion teams will be crowned in wrestling, ice hockey, girls' swimming, boys' and girls' skiing, and boys' and girls' basketball before the state championship schedule comes to an end March 14.
