HS FOOTBALL: Bulldogs Chop the Wood in 2011

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Hotchkiss Bulldogs are using a warrior-like mentality in 2011.

Coach Zac Lemon gave the Bulldogs a motto this season called "chop the wood," and the boys took it literally. Six seniors dug out a 300-pound tree stump and put it outside of their home stadium. They also decorated an ax and plan on chopping the wood before each home game this season.
