GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Cedaredge got off to a strong start, but Hotchkiss eventually took complete control to defeat the Bruins 26-3.
Cedaredge (1-1) steadily moved the ball on their second series to the four yard line where they eventually settled for a field goal and a 3-0 lead. But after a quick lead, Hotchkiss (2-0) scored 26 unanswered points to give Cedaredge their first loss of the year.
Next up: Cedaredge will host Bayfield on Friday Sept. 16 while Hotchkiss will host Aspen on the same day.
