HOTCHKISS, Colo. (KKCO) -- Hotchkiss is now 10-0 on the season and just three wins away from it's first state title since 1949.
They'll meet a Ressurrection Christian team that's in the playoffs for the first time ever. The Cougars overcame a 14-point deficit on the road to beat Monte Vista by a touchdown.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs' closest game of the season was a 23 point win over Cedaredge. Their average margin of victory has been 40 points.
And just like Grand Junction, if Hotchkiss can win this weekend, they'll be back at home the following weekend, which would be for a spot in the 1A state finals.
