GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The No. 2 Hotchkiss Bulldogs demolished the No. 7 Lyons Lions 49-9 on Saturday in the second round of the 1A playoffs.
The Bulldogs advance to the semifinals for the first time under Zac Lemon, and it breaks the streak of two straight years of being eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Hotchkiss will play No. 3 Burlington next Saturday.
