New Delhi (AP) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says Pakistan must show “resolve and urgency” in helping investigate the Mumbai attacks.

India has been pointing to what it says are Pakistani links to the attacks, which killed 171 people. Rice, who's in India, says the attacks in Mumbai are “the kind of terror in which Al-Qaida participates.”

Rice arrived in New Delhi today as part of a U.S. Effort to ease tensions in the region after the three-day terrorist attack in India's financial capital.

Rice told a news conference the U.S. Is “not going to jump to any conclusions about who is responsible for this although the U.S. is prepared and is already actively engaged in information sharing.”
