Denver (AP) -- A man wanted in the execution-style shooting of
two men in Evergreen in 2004 has been captured in El Paso, Texas.
Both men survived. KUSA-TV reports that U.S. Marshals
captured Robert Montoya Friday night following a joint operation
between FBI and Mexican police.
Montoya is accused of attacking two men who were cleaning a
house in Evergreen, tying their hands behind their back and
shooting one man in the face and the other in the chest.
Montoya faces attempted murder charges in Jefferson County.
Authorities arrested him on a federal warrant of unlawful flight to
avoid prosecution.
