Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – One family in Fruita had their lives turned upside down this weekend when their home and everything in it burned to ground. Now the family is trying to pick up the pieces, and move on.

The fire that took everything from Delean Hall and her two kids happened on Sunday, Easter morning, and even though priceless memories have been lost, the family is just thankful that everyone and their four pets are OK.

Now they're just taking things one day at a time, staying in a hotel as they still can't believe what happened.

"I honestly don't know that I have processed it yet. I feel like I’m telling somebody else's story and it doesn't feel real yet," says Delean Hall.

The Hall family is now reaching out to the Red Cross and the community.

They have a Facebook page called "Fire Relief Effort: Hall Family."

An account has been set up to help the family at Western Rockies Federal Credit Union. See the link below for locations. It is under the name Fire Relief Effort: Hall Family.

Primerica on 1st and North is also taking donations for the family.
