New Candidate for County Commissioner to Take on McInnis

MESA COUNTY, Colo. The race for the next mesa county commissioner's heating up as a democrat announced his candidacy Thursday.

Mark Williams made his political quest official at the Lincoln Park Barn.

The local attorney is a Colorado native and even graduated from Grand Junction High School.

He's running for the District 2 seat, challenging Scott McInnis for the commissioner seat in November.

He believes that government must focus on the middle class, the less fortunate and the future of our children.
