On March 10th, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office released surveillance photos of a man and woman using a stolen credit card to buy gas, now they say they've identified the pair along with two others accused of identity theft.
Forty-six year-old Colin Lever is being held at the detention facility on charges of identity theft. Officials believe the three other suspects are somewhere in Southern California.
Arrest warrants have been issued for 40 year old Laurie Schuck, 35 year old Sean Schuck and 23 year old Kimberly Bannister. The sheriff's office says they were able to identify the suspects thanks to the help of the media and the public.
Authorities say the four smashed a car window at the Jumbo Lake area on the Grand Mesa February 16th and grabbed a purse. Authorities say they then went on a spending spree using the victim's credit cards.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Schucks or Bannister is asked to call the sheriff's office at 244-3500.
