Andrew Weaver is being held on a $25,000 bond for Internet sex charges. The Mesa County District Attorney's Office caught weaver during an Internet sex sting back in March of 2007. A warrant for his arrest was issued in December of 2007.
Weaver is facing charges of Internet sex-exploitation of a child.
Weaver, who lives in Broomfield, Colorado, was a teacher at Brighton High School. A spokesperson for the district says he turned in a letter of resignation on Friday.
