Affidavit: He grabbed hold of her hair and shot her in the neck.

The man accused of killing 23–year-old Anna Macias confessed to shooting the pregnant mother.

Police say that when Lonnie Herrera was first interviewed by detectives he admitted to pulling Macias's hair and shooting her in the neck.

Herrera will be in court Tuesday where he will be formally charged with first degree murder, felony menacing, child abuse, among other charges.

The Districts Attorney's office also says that he may face a second murder charge in the death of two-day-old Maria Macias.

    no matter what happens to lonnie herrera he won't suffer enough,as much as anna's family or her children,those kids will never see her again.anna was loving person, a good mother,daughter,sister,and friend.i will miss her.i had known anna all her life.And i will watch her kids grow up as i did her.
