For the fourth time city officials in Fruita re–counted thousands of ballots by hand to find the outcome to be a tie.
Backers of the Rec Center proposal requested the recount.
It was 12–62 to 12–62 for and against the measure, the same as last week's recount.
By law, the Rec Center proposal fails.
Fruita election officials say there will not be anymore recounts on this issue.
