Inflated Prices; Deflated Wallets

According to AAA, Coloradans are paying an average of $3.33 for a gallon of gas; this is just $.01 shy of hitting an all time high in Colorado.

Does the search for a lower price make a difference, even if it’s just one penny? The average car gets about 27 miles to the gallon, so with prices at $3.30 and you drive an extra three miles, about 39 cents worth of gas would be burned That’s more than double what you'd expect to save filling up that 15 gallon tank.

Colorado Springs and Greeley have the lowest gas prices in Colorado and Vail has the highest.
