Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Grand Junction today to attend a fundraiser for US Senate Candidate Bob Schaffer.

The Vice Presidents plane will land at Grand Junction Regional Airport at about eleven this morning.

Then he will head over to a private home for a fundraiser and reception for Senate Candidate Bob Schaffer.

He isn't expected to speak to the public, he is here simply to support Schaffer.

The Vice President will leave Grand Junction at about one o'clock.
