Warding Off Unwanted Visitors
It’s been a long winter and the DOW wants to remind you that bears are coming out of hibernation.
The bears will take a couple of weeks before they start looking for food.
Some tips to keep unwanted visitors away; do not put your trash out the night before pick–up but rather that morning, especially if you live in a rural area. You should also be careful of where you leave pet food and take precautions if you have a bird feeder in your yard.
