Tuesday's trash pick up for some residents and businesses may be delayed until Wednesday. High winds forced the closure of the landfill at around 10:30am and the city's Solid Waste division has not been able to empty their trash trucks.
"We'll pick up as much trash as possible today until the trucks are filled," said Rob Laurin, Solid Wasted Supervisor. "If your trash was to be collected today and wasn't, it will be collected tomorrow along with Wednesday's regular route."
