Two men need help after they were injured in a fire at Affordable Automotive Services.
The men were working on a gas tank when vapors drifted to a pilot light on a furnace and ignited causing a flash fire. Joe Holifield has 3rd degree burns over 30% of his body and his brother Jim has 2nd degree burns to his leg. Joe is expected to be in a Denver hospital for at least another four weeks and Jim will be there for at least two more weeks.
Friends say that workers comp is only covering Jim and not Joe and this family needs financial help. Donations can be made at any First National Bank of the Rockies in Jim or Joe Holifield's name, you can also contact Anita at (970) 255-9300 for any more information.
