The Fruita Fat Tire Festival continues to bring attention to the worlds of beer and biking, but on Saturday afternoon, athletes of all ages (and costume attire) geared up to leave some rubber on the pavement in this years "Clunker Crit" bike race.
The crowd cheered on bikers young and old.
There were even some “activity obstacles”, like swapping clothing and giving your bike to a bystander, stuck in between the laps around the festival grounds in downtown Fruita.
The race is a tradition to break out older bikes, but is mostly just about having a bit of fun.
