A Clifton man charged in the hit and run death of his friend changed his plea Wednesday.
26–year–old Michael Ocampo pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, DUI and possession of cocaine charges as part of a plea deal.
Last July, he hit 26–year–old Mario Mondragon on 30 road between D and D 1/2 roads and didn't stop.
Mondragon's family members told 11 News they're happy with the plea.
Ocampo is out on bond. He will be back in court in July for sentencing.
