Hundreds crowded the blocked off streets of downtown Grand Junction today to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
Festivities included traditional dancing, music, Mexican food, arts, crafts, games, jump houses, blow-up slides, rock climbing walls, and cars.
Cinco de Mayo is a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and tradition, commemorating the Battle of Puebla, when Mexican forces beat out the French on May 5th, 1862.
