Some outfitters say this may be the best year for river rafting in 24 years.
Rafting guides say the Colorado River in Grand Junction is flowing at about five thousand cubic feet per second, which is expected to be ten times as fast at the peak of the season.
Local outfitters say they're already booking up, thanks to record snowfall this year.
But for the same reason the river may be flowing at record speeds rafting guides say you should pay that much more attention to safety.
