Brush Fire Near Mall Put Out
Firefighters are getting the last of the flames out at a fire burning in west Grand Junction.
It's charred about a half acre in an area between 23 and 24 roads and between G road and highway 6 and 50.
The flames were mostly contained to the center of a field there and got near a homeless camp.
At this point fire investigators are still figuring out what started it.
We will stay on top of this story and bring you more information as we get it.
