A Grand Junction man may face attempted murder charges after investigators say he was carrying a gun and was planning to shoot his ex-girlfriend.

Police arrested 19-year old Eric Donald Flukey yesterday on harassment,trespassing and theft charges.

Investigators say he followed his ex-girlfriend Jessica Cramer and her current boyfriend. Flukey reportedly broke into her car and her boyfriend's house. After interviewing Flukey, Investigators say he admitted he had a gun and was planning to shoot Cramer.

The district attorney's office plans to pursue attempted murder charges.
