A shocked District 51 student learned she was the winner of a brand new car this afternoon.
School District 51 and Grand Junction Subaru teamed up for the first annual "It's Cool to Stay in School" attendance program.
Stephanie Ranyan from Central High School won a 2008 Subaru Imprezza.
District 51 and Grand Junction Subaru say the program was a success and hope to give away another car to a deserving student next year.
