Officials Say Rafting Too Dangerous Right Now

Mesa County officials say these water levels are too dangerous for rafting right now. They're recommending a temporary suspension of all rafting trips because of dangerous conditions.

Officials say fast moving water, cold temperatures and floating debris could be hazardous.

They say no one should go on the river for at least the next 24 hours. But that recommendation may extend through the weekend depending on whether or not the flood waters go down.
