After being shut down for about eight months, a main roadway in DeBeque will finally reopen after repairs.
The bridge was closed because of safety concerns. Over time, it started to crumble more and more and it became too dangerous for area drivers.
The Mesa County Public Works department will host a bridge reopening ceremony on June 6th.
They say the project was completed a month ahead of schedule and within the original budget.
