Rescue Crews have reached two 17-year-old boys that were stuck on a ledge out near the Colorado National Monument.

Rescuers were able to lead the boys to safety just before 8:00 Sunday night. Then teens are said to be ok and only suffered some minor bumps and bruises when they slid down some rocks to safety.

Crews were called out just before 6:30 Sunday evening. Two passerbys noticed the boys stuck on the ledge along the rugged terrain near the White Rock area. They stayed with the boys and called for help.

The Grand Junction Fire Department, Mesa County Search and Rescue, and Monument Park Rangers helped the boys to safety.
