Dangerous conditions along the Colorado River are encouraging the Mesa County Sheriff to recommend that people to stay out of the water.
Since April the Sheriff's office has responded to multiple situations involving people floating and rafting that were unprepared for the current conditions.
The Sheriff’s office is recommending you find alternate activities and stay away from waterways in the county for the next few weeks.
