With the cost of a gallon of gas topping the four dollar mark, the oil and gas industry on the Western Slope is preparing for some possible impacts on the industry.

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission is holding a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the new rules for oil and gas development in the state of Colorado that have been drafted. Tomorrow residents will have their chance to comment on the proposed regulations.

The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning at Two Rivers Convention Center.
