They've taken the state title for 12 out of the past 13 years, but now the Grand Junction High School Knowledge Bowl team could be the nation's best.

The team has made it to national semi-finals of the Panasonic Academic Challenge in Orlando.

On Tuesday, the team will compete for a spot in the championships. The team went undefeated in competition this year, the highest the team has even finished at the national level is fifth and they hope to do better.
