The Orchard Mesa man who performed as “Giggles the Clown” and pleaded guilty to attempted internet luring of a child is out on parole today.
As part of a plea deal from the Otero County District Attorney's office, six felony charges against 30-year-old Antonio Lazcano were dropped and he will not have to register as a sex offender.
Lazcano served 15 months behind bars and was released this morning. Lazcano was arrested back in may in Grand Junction after a mother found sexually explicit photo's of him in her underage daughter's email.
The girl’s mother says she's extremely disappointed with Lazcano's sentence and can't believe the district attorney's office dropped the most serious charges.
