Ex Coach To Enter Plea in Sexual Assault Case

A teacher accused of having a romantic relationship with a student will enter a plea next month and while he waits to do it he'll be wearing a GPS tracking device.

Matt Lindholm is charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child. The resigned teacher and coach is accused of kissing and hugging a student in the coach's office at Central High.

In court this morning, his lawyer asked a judge to have his tracking device taken off because of good behavior. But a statement read to the court from the victim said she feels safer knowing he is under surveillance.

Lindholm's request was denied.

He'll be back in court in mid July to enter his plea.
