1st ever running of the bulls in Grand Junction

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Grand Valley residents helped out Colorado Discover Ability, by participating in the first ever running of the bulls. Of course real bulls weren't used instead Colorado Discover Ability - (C.D.A.) Reached out to the Grand Junction Roller Derby Girls.

Who chased down participants on their roller skates.
The event included two heats one for the runners and one was the wheeled division.

"People in the valley are up for a new idea, and their up for a fun idea that's why we thought why not bring this here," says Uschi Hall, Colorado Discover Ability.

The runners made their way down 5th Street from Grand to the finish line at Main Street.
C.D.A. officials hope to make this an annual event.
