Mesa County Officials are urging folks that live in flood plains to buy flood insurance now.

There's an education meeting Tuesday night on flood insurance.

County and city officials say residents can purchase flood insurance at reduced rate now if they act before the adoption of the new flood plain maps.

Tonight's meeting is at the Redlands United Methodist church.
