Grand Junction City Council vote on whether or not to allow Brady Trucking company to rezone ended in a dead lock monday night.

Brady Trucking has been in a long-standing debate with many community members about how to develop the Colorado river. The Brady General Manager says the company has been trying to change its acreage since they bought the property two years ago and are cramped on that four acre lot. But some residents are not too keen on the rezoning plan.

The vote for rezoning ended up in a 3-3 vote, as Councilman Bruce Hill did not participate, citing a conflict of interest.
