Grand Junction fire crews responded to the Westlake mobile home park, located off 25 ½ road at around 4:15 this morning.

A motorist driving on Patterson reported seeing flames coming from the mobile home park. When crews arrived they saw flames coming from the side of the trailer.

Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire.

Firefighters searched inside for people trapped but the residents had already gotten out of the house.

The damage was extensive and may prevent the residents from living in the mobile home.
